PRACTICAL INFORMATION TO GET TO SANT JORDI CLUB SATURDAY 8th DECEMBER

Due to the Barcelona Montjuïc Revival car rally that will take place on Saturday 8th December on Montjuïc’s former urban circuit, access to Sant Jordi Club will be modified, as the streets that make up the circuit will be closed to traffic and pedestrians from 7:30 am until 7 pm.
On Friday 7th access will be normal.

Alternative access to Sant Jordi Club (Passeig Olímpic, 5) on Saturday 8th:

By public transport

- The bus service will not run for the duration of the event.
- The closest underground station is Plaça España (lines 1 and 3) and from there, it is possible to get to Sant Jordi Club on foot taking the following points into consideration:

It will only be possible to cross the circuit using the two permanent bridges of Av. de la Reina Maria Cristina – Rius i Taulet and the foot bridge that has been built for the act on Av. de l’Estadi.
Part of the circuit will be closed from the Fonts de Montjuic, to Poble Espanyol. It will only be possible to use the following zebra crossings at certain times during the event, between the end of one heat and the beginning of the next:  Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia – Foixarda, Av. de l´Estadi, between the Picornell swimming pool and the jardín de aclimatación (only for people with limited mobility who cannot use the foot bridge) and Pg. Santa Madrona – Guàrdia Urbana. All the other crossings will be closed during the event.

By car / taxi

- No vehicles will be able to use or cross the circuit while it is closed.
- At night the circuit will be partially open, once the event has finished and all obstacles have been removed from the streets (until 7:30 on Sunday 9th)

So Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, between Mèxic and el Polvorí
Av. Estadi, between Passeig Olímpic and Av. de Miramar
Pg. Santa Madrona, between Av. de l’Estadi and Lleida, will be open to traffic.

The recommended route to Sant Jordi Club is to go down Paral·lel, onto Ronda Litoral and take exit 13. Go up Carrer de la Mare de Déu del Port and continue along Ferrocarrils Catalans and Carrer del Foc. The same route is recommended from Zona Franca. And from Monasterio the route will be the same after going straight down Passeig de Colom.
